STÄPS - Student Training Center for Medical Practice and Simulation
The Student Training Center for Medical Practice and Simulation (Studentisches Trainingszentrum Ärztlicher Praxis und Simulation, STÄPS) substantially broadens the scope of course offerings. Established in 2009, STÄPS is financed mostly through tuition fees. The modern rooms of STÄPS are open to students throughout the day. They can be used for for peer teaching and independent study.

Several regular courses are held in the premises of STÄPS. These courses use innovative teaching methods such as problem-oriented learning (POL), exercises with simulated patients, and courses in small groups.
