The Foundation Committee University Medical Center Göttingen is the supervisory authority of the University Medical Center Göttingen - Foundation under Public Law.

The committee consists of five voting members as well as the Managing Board of the University Medical Center, the latter being part of the committee in an advisory function. The equal opportunity commissioner and members of the Staff Committee can be admitted to committee meetings in a consultative capacity.

The Foundation Committee advises the University Medical Center Göttingen, decides on Foundation matters of fundamental importance pertaining exclusively to the University Medical Center Göttingen and supervises the activities of the Managing Board.
