Online Application for Professorships
Details for the online application for a professorship (W3, W2, and W1 (Junior)-Professorships)
Applications including CV, extensive description of the scientific career, documentary evidence, list of publications and teaching responsibilities, and special printings of the five most important publications are to be submitted via the e recruitment portal before the end of the deadline for the tender submission period. Please address your application to the Dean of the University Medical Center Göttingen.
Please upload the following files onto the e-recruitment portal, together with your CV:
- Scientific Qualifications, Research Priorities: periods of academic training (license to practice medicine, specialized training, additional qualifications etc.), experience in personnel management and management skills. For Junior Professors: concept for further professional qualification (desired academic position). For clinical subjects: competence as senior physician, desired position, intended sub specialization, experiences in medical and patient care (sphere of responsibility, scope of expertise, special expertise and priorities, catalogue of surgeries performed, if applicable)
Research: scientific qualifications, topics of previous and current research focuses, international connections and collaborations, potential integration into existing research networks and projects at the University Medical Center Göttingen and beyond. -

Statements on planned research projects, cooperation with existing teams at the University Medical Center Göttingen (UMG), on your concept for teaching and continuing education, if applicable, as well as on medical care, and health care and medical treatment, if applicable (4 pages maximum)
Junior Professorships: project outline and concept for an interdisciplinary integration of the junior professorship into the research networks of the UMG (10 pages maximum)
